Mike Matisa is one of those guys that you want to be around. He is multi-talented, passionate, and caring, with an upbeat “can-do”
attitude that is simply infectious. His personality and life experience lends itself to his many faceted audiences large and
small. Whether it is lecturing about cutting edge technology, singing and playing guitar to bar crowds, or on screen acting and promoting
products, he is at home.
Mike has been in the public eye in one role or another for over 25 years. He has been in the entertainment
industry since 1983, starting out as a local DJ for clubs and private parties. Mike then moved on to singing and playing guitar
in 1992, showcasing original and cover material. He is currently writing, recording, and pitching original material to
major record labels, TV, and film, and also continues to deliver rockin’ and soulful live performances at local venues to this day.
As a result, he has a quite a following who enjoy both his music and his presence.
During his day job as an engineer, Mike has
made various appearances in both print media and short films to promote corporate products in the technology sector since 1991.
On
the acting front, Mike has recently debuted as a "featured extra" in the upcoming short film "Rogers Number" (2009), supporting leading
man and long time childhood friend Russ Terlecki, who's acting and film producing credits include; "Killer Movie", "Alphabet Killer",
"Approaching Heaven", and various commercials for Sprite and Spike TV to name a few.
For Mike, life is about family, friends,
and relationships. He strives to be the best he can be and to utilize his talents in a way that is pleasing for everyone about
him. Mike brings his enthusiasm for life and the task at hand to all of his work.
With the multitude of life experiences
that make Mike who he is, he can certainly immerse himself in any on-screen role including athlete, tradesman, entertainer, technologist,
